BULBOUS TORSO was established in 1987 as a small press publishing house releasing limited edition pamphlets / folios / posters / prints.

In 2000, BULBOUS TORSO, became the first music label to support the COTTAGE INDUSTRIAL music scene by signing LOKI.

In 2009 despite global recession BULBOUS TORSO is significantly increasing its releasing schedule – issuing recordings from a newly signed broad base of acts according to a policy of ‘total product overload’.

It is expected that this will of course bankrupt the company however it is felt that it will be a worthy demise – BULBOUS TORSO will terminate depositing diamonds in the ordure of popular music.

It is however hoped that your continuing support and interest as customers will permit us to persist as long as it remains financially viable – enabling us to bring you more recordings from more artists.

LOKI, in accordance with our policy, will be issuing 12 EPs – 1 per calendar month for the duration of 2009. In December a limited special edition box-set will be made available featuring all of these releases and more.
